Manager - Quality Reporting

Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of MaineHealth system quality dashboard measures
Assess gaps in clinical quality measurement and reporting at the local and system level
Work jointly with IT to explore and implement solutions to meet reporting needs at the local and system level
Represent the Quality Dept. in relationships with reporting software vendors
Coordinate external reporting of quality measures as needed
Serve as a resource for local teams in addressing unmet needs related to clinical quality reporting

Required

Four-year college degree in a health-related field is required
At least 5 years working in a health care delivery organization is required, with a minimum of 2 years in a primarily administrative or management role
Familiarity with patient safety measures, national patient safety goals, Leapfrog safety grades, and performance improvement tools and concepts, e.g., plan-do-study-act, is required
Familiarity with commonly used safety event reporting software systems is required
Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical decision support is required
Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite or equivalent

Preferred

Master's degree preferred
Experience working in a hospital or integrated health system preferred
Experience leading and managing teams across multiple locations
