Responsibilities
Administration of IT hardware, software and networks.This includes the proper purchase, sizing, set-up, and maintenance of all new computers and software licenses
Manage company’s IT security and implement adequate cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information
Develops internal procedures and guidelines to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Evaluates methodologies, processes, and specifications to ensure computer equipment, hardware, and software operate in alignment with organizational needs and standards
Maintenance of company servers and data back-ups
Ensure constant connection for all employees to VPN and Internet- Review all current company set-up and establish a plan to give satellite offices and home office better access to uninterrupted service
Helpdesk- Quickly troubleshoot all employee technical issues
Organized Training- Training sessions should be held on Microsoft Office Suite and IFS
Lead IT projects to further improve processes, systems and compliance
Direct IT operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and ability
Provide planning and consultation for new products, applications, upgrades as needed
Cell Phone/Email- IT Director should respond to email and phone during business hours and in times of serious issues after business hours
Support the upgrade/re-implementation of new ERP System
Provide strategic direction to guide the planning and deployment of future ERP updates to ensure reliability, security, and functionality
Installation of all ERP patches and developing/maintaining 70+ user security settings and profiles
Assist with dashboard design and configuration
Manage vendor relationships for ERP, Reporting, and Human Resource applications
Provide technical planning and consultation throughout the ERP implementation
Qualification
Required
Master's or bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent commensurate work experience
7 years experience in an IT or IT management role
Proven ability to work effectively, independently and collaborate closely with business/technical teams to accomplish business objectives
Experience with systems implementation and/or process transformation
