Designer III
Atlas Lantz Studio is seeking a Designer Level III with 6-9 years of professional experience to join their growing practice. This role involves advancing projects from concept through documentation while mentoring junior designers and collaborating with Project Architects and Senior Architects.
Architecture & Planning
Responsibilities
Lead design development for defined portions of projects across multiple phases
Translate conceptual ideas into clear, coordinated architectural solutions
Develop and manage Revit models and drawing packages with increasing independence
Support consultant coordination and integration of building systems
Produce high-quality drawings, diagrams, and presentations with minimal oversight
Participate in design reviews, pin-ups, and client presentations
Assist in construction documentation and, where applicable, construction administration
Mentor and support Designer Level I and II team members
Qualification
Required
6-9 years of professional experience in an architecture or design studio
Accredited professional degree in Architecture or related field
Strong design sensibility with demonstrated ability to execute technically complex work
Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Adobe Creative Suite, and visualization software such as Lumion, Enscape or D5 required
Working knowledge of building systems, codes, and construction documentation
Experience participating in or leading portions of construction documentation and/or construction administration
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a collaborative studio environment
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Progress toward architectural licensure strongly preferred (licensure enables advancement to Project Architect)
