Content Engineer
Sparq Designs is a fast-paced, growing organization seeking a highly creative and strategic digital content engineer. The role involves ideating and managing content across various marketing channels, collaborating with teams, and ensuring projects are on schedule while leveraging AI systems for content generation and editing.
Responsibilities
Create social media campaign copy and posts in alignment with strategic plans through AI systems. Prompt the systems with appropriate background and ideas that are aligned with the client's needs and expectations to drive engagement, growth, and impressions
Develop email marketing copy for assigned clients through AI system management and copy editing to help drive open rates and conversions
Write long-form copy as needed: website pages, blogs, strategic plans, etc., using AI systems and copy editing
Assist in the development of video treatments to create compelling messaging
Ideate, produce, and scale high-quality content across priority and appropriate platforms to help create a unified message
Assist in the planning and scheduling of content to help drive traffic and engagement across appropriate channels
Manage personal deadlines and ensure all deliverables are on time across multiple clients
Recommend and implement A/B tests for copy in multiple formats or where necessary
Use analytics to refine messaging and pivot when necessary
Work with internal client teams to develop client assets
Work with internal client teams on campaign planning and brainstorming
Interface with Account Managers to implement content, campaigns, and report on progress
Miscellaneous and additional tasks as needed and assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
10+ years of previous experience in copywriting, copy editing, or related field
Ability to prompt, train, and manage AI systems to generate appropriate copy tailored to correct audiences and demographics (mandatory)
Leverage AI platforms and additional emerging tools to streamline content development, improve efficiency (mandatory)
Ability to read and edit AI copy to be on strategy, on brand, demographically appropriate, and eliminate AI tells (mandatory)
Ability to understand complex accounts and nuances (mandatory)
Deep understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, including organic social, paid social, and others (mandatory)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (mandatory)
Demonstrate quality work with strict deadlines
Ability to multitask and manage several accounts at once
Must be a team player
Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to continue to learn and grow
Problem-solving skills, organizational acumen, and attention to detail are critical success factors
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Computer skills in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Project Management Software, and more. Ability to self-manage tech platforms and internal systems after training sessions
Ability to travel to client meetings
