Responsibilities
Responsible for the repair, PM, QA, installation, modification and technical advice for all Radiologic, Laboratory, MRI, Ultrasound equipment, as well as other clinical and non-clinical equipment as assigned by the Manager of Clinical Engineering
Responsible for implementation and maintaining the Medical Equipment Management Plan in accordance with JCAHO requirements
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related degree required
Must possess valid New York State driver's license and be insurable
5 years experience as a BMET, or 5 years prior radiology-related experience required
Strong troubleshooting and electronic skills required
Strong organizational and communication skills required
