Responsibilities
Design and execute end-to-end test strategies for the VSaaS platform, covering edge devices, video analytics, backend services, and frontend interfaces
Develop automated test frameworks for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, AI, Backend and Frontend, to define test plans, acceptance criteria, and quality goals
Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure high release quality and enable rapid feedback loops
Investigate, track, and drive resolution of defects; continuously refine test coverage and improve overall platform reliability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 2+ years of Quality Engineering or related work experience
Master's Degree in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 1+ year of Quality Engineering or related work experience
PhD in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
Preferred
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
5+ years of experience in QA engineering or software testing
Solid experience testing RESTful APIs and web/mobile applications
Strong proficiency with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, etc.)
Proficient in scripting or programming with Python or Go
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience testing cameras, video streaming, media processing and real-time analytics
Understanding of computer vision or LLM agents in a product context
Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack
Knowledge of security and privacy considerations in video surveillance systems
Prior experience with performance, load, and stress testing in large-scale distributed systems
