Design, build and configure Alation applications to meet business process and application requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field
10+ years of experience in data governance, data cataloging, or data management, with at least 5+ years of experience working with Alation
Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and metadata management
Experience with relational databases, ETL tools, and data warehouse environments
Familiarity with SQL and scripting languages (Python, Shell, Java etc.) for automation and troubleshooting
Ability to configure Alation's core components and has hands-on experience on functional architecture
Experience in implementing Alation within large enterprise environments
Preferred
Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or similar is a plus
