Responsibilities
Work with our peer teams and customers to design suitable software systems and interfaces to fulfill the mission needs
Develop a strategic plan for the growth of the team, both from a software services and organization perspective
Hire & Develop a diverse team of software engineers
Aid in the design of mission critical systems in LEO
Collaborate with your fellow team members to form a strong foundation for a software organization in LEO
Help on-board and mentor new team members
Qualification
Required
10+ years of engineering experience
5+ years of engineering team management experience
10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
Experience in embedded development in C/C++, or experience writing low level drivers
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred
Experience partnering with product and program management teams
Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications
