Responsibilities
Build and modify Patient Work Queues, WQ Rules, and WQ Properties
Review and understand existing Patient WQ rules with complex custom logic
Modify Patient WQ rules without disrupting existing functionality
Interpret operational requirements and build solutions independently
Configure Parent/Child WQ relationships
Determine appropriate use of dynamic routing rules versus warning rules
Perform comprehensive testing including new build and negative testing scenarios
Support patient flow management and registration workflows
Qualification
Required
Current Epic Prelude certification required
Extensive experience building and modifying Patient Work Queues
Ability to review complex WQ rules and understand their logic
Strong independent problem-solving skills
Experience with Parent/Child WQ relationships
Understanding of when to use dynamic routing rules vs. warning rules
Comprehensive testing methodology experience
Healthcare operations knowledge
