Responsibilities
Supporting Manufacturing Operations in a production environment
Developing and implementing production and tooling methodologies while integrating technical solutions across multiple disciplines
Developing, identifying, and implementing conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build
Team members are also engaged in investigating technical problems and implementing manufacturing plans utilizing Lean principles and technologies
This environment embraces the concept of team collaboration focused on developing and implementing process improvements that are directed at enhancing schedule performance, lowering cost, improving quality and increasing worker safety
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related Production Engineering degree
Strong analytical/technical, problem solving and communication skills
Knowledge of the various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, structural and systems
Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas
Ability to work well within a team environment to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products
Proficiency with MS Office tool set: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
