Electrical Engineer Intern (Summer)
Guardian RF is seeking an electrical engineering summer intern to support the design, testing, and deployment of low-SWaP passive RF sensing systems for drone detection and airspace awareness. The intern will work directly with full-time engineers on hardware bring-up and system-level troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
Support the design, testing, and deployment of low-SWaP passive RF sensing systems for drone detection and airspace awareness
Work directly with full-time engineers on hardware bring-up, RF front-end validation, power and battery systems, antenna integration, and system-level troubleshooting
Bench testing
Field testing support
Documentation of electrical designs and test results
Iterative improvements to deployed sensor hardware
Qualification
Required
Strong foundation in electrical engineering fundamentals
Comfort with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers
Interest in RF systems, embedded hardware, or applied sensing
Experience with hardware bring-up
Experience with RF front-end validation
Experience with power and battery systems
Experience with antenna integration
Experience with system-level troubleshooting
Ability to conduct bench testing
Ability to support field testing
Ability to document electrical designs and test results
Ability to make iterative improvements to deployed sensor hardware
