Responsibilities
Lead Salesforce technical design and development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative automation
Build and enhance solutions across Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Energy & Utilities Cloud
Design and implement Salesforce-centric integrations with SAP Industry Solutions for Utilities (IS-U) and SAP S/4HANA
Own Salesforce data models, security, and performance optimization
Implement real-time and asynchronous integrations using APIs, platform events, and middleware
Collaborate with business, SAP, and integration teams to deliver end-to-end Utilities solutions
Support releases, deployments, and production operations
Enforce Salesforce development standards, governance, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with: Apex, SOQL, Triggers
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Salesforce Flows and automation
Deep experience with Salesforce Service Cloud
Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud (customer and partner portals)
Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, and data access models
Salesforce Integration & SAP Expertise
Proven experience integrating Salesforce with SAP systems, including: SAP IS-U (Industry Solutions for Utilities), SAP ECC / S/4HANA
Hands-on experience with: REST/SOAP APIs, IDocs
Platform Events / Change Data Capture
Middleware such as MuleSoft, SAP CPI, or PI/PO
Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns
Utilities Cloud Experience (Strong Advantage)
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud, including: Customer 360 for Utilities, Service, billing, and customer engagement use cases, Integration patterns aligned with SAP IS-U
Ability to design Salesforce solutions that complement SAP Utilities back-office systems
Collaborate with business, SAP, and integration teams to deliver end-to-end Utilities solutions
Support releases, deployments, and production operations
Enforce Salesforce development standards, governance, and best practices
Preferred
Utilities Domain Experience (Preferred)
Experience in Electric, Gas, or Water Utilities
Familiarity with customer service, billing, metering, work management, or field operations
Salesforce Platform Developer I / II
Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud accreditation or certification
Salesforce Service Cloud or Experience Cloud certification
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to lead technical discussions and guide solution design
Experience working in onshore–offshore delivery models
