Project Manager 4 - Prefer Local to Richmond, VA
Interon IT Solutions is hiring for a Project Manager 4 to oversee the sourcing, planning, and implementation of new Chemistry Lab Analyzers in 4 DBHDS Facilities. The role includes managing project budgets, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely project deliverables.
Responsibilities
Coordinate vendors and consultants, and DBHDS and business staff as assigned, in the execution of Business & IT projects and related procurements
Coordinate and oversee the development of proposals, statement of work, statement of requirements and RFP responses
Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments and removing roadblocks to their work
Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness are met
Facilitate multi-disciplinary teams in the development of plans, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for completion of a project
Oversee and manage execution and/or coordination of day-to-day project activities as required
Manage working relationships with key stakeholders, including executive management, business management, vendors, project sponsors, suppliers, and technology management
Track and communicate a project's progress from a schedule, cost, and risk perspective to the project team, customers, and project stakeholders
Collaborate with external (vendor / Suppliers) and internal technology leads and solution architects to incorporate agency best practices into project plans
Drive consistent project delivery through the entire project lifecycle, including, execution of procurements, definition of project plans, resource allocation, management of project risks, scope, and schedule, delivery of value, and well-ordered transitions to operations
Monitor progress by third-party vendors and define and measure their progress with metrics
Develop and maintain project budget, plans, task lists, schedules, risks, and status, to include resource allocation and schedules
Adhere to DBHDS and VITA project management practices and governance requirements
Facilitates resolution of technical issues
Leads and coordinates the scoping, technical requirements gathering, estimating and planning for single or multiple work-streams
Qualification
Required
Strong background in planning, executing, and managing cloud-hosted SaaS implementation projects
Strong ability to analyze complex problems, organize priorities, and make sound decisions under pressure
Proven capability to lead cross-functional teams and drive adoption of new approaches, systems, and methodologies
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ability to represent technical teams effectively in diverse form
Extensive experience guiding business and IT stakeholders through discovery and documentation of business and technical requirement
Deep knowledge of Agile and Waterfall principles, with hands-on experience running Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall project
Active PMP® certification from PMI
Skilled in collaborating with vendors and overseeing successful implementation of vendor solutions
Demonstrated success managing projects within the healthcare sector, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
