Responsibilities
Designing overhead and underground electrical distribution systems
Producing drawings, field notes, specifications, and engineering calculations
Performing field walkdowns to capture existing conditions
Applying utility standards, codes, and best practices to all designs
Coordinating with internal teams to ensure constructability and compliance
Supporting project delivery from concept through completion
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (power emphasis preferred)
EIT certification or progress toward professional licensure
Around 3–5 years of experience in electrical distribution design
Strong knowledge of three-phase power systems
Experience using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
Confidence working with Microsoft Office and engineering documentation
Clear communication skills and an organized, detail-oriented approach
