Responsibilities
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will bring our concepts to life by designing with manufacturability and moldability in mind
Actively participate in new product development discussion and execution from conceptualization to release for manufacturing
Lead mechanical design initiatives with DFM/DFA excellence
Drive cross-functional collaboration from concept to production
Mentor junior engineers while advancing technical standards
Transform user needs into innovative, manufacturable solutions
Manage multiple products through full development lifecycle
Ensure designs meet the highest standards of reliability and performance
Create and manage detailed engineering documentation, including BOMs, drawings, testing plans, and specifications
Identify opportunities to innovate product performance, reduce cost, and streamline engineering workflows
Qualification
Required
BS Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
Proven years of experience in product design with preference for consumer or military products
Mastery of SolidWorks, FEA, and DFM/DFA principles
Deep knowledge of injection molding and rapid prototyping processes
Track record of taking products from concept to market
Good communication, organization skills are a must
Natural leadership and mentoring abilities
Passion for products that matter
