Goucher College is seeking a Data Analyst/Programmer to support the implementation of the new Workday student information system. This role involves data migration, extraction, validation, and reconciliation efforts, working closely with IT and functional teams to ensure data integrity throughout the process.

Create and run SQL queries and scripts for data extraction

Assist in validating data before and after migration

Support data reconciliation and documentation efforts

Assist technical and functional teams in resolving data discrepancies

Required

Experience in creating and running SQL queries and scripts for data extraction

Ability to assist with preparing data for migration into Workday Student

Experience in performing basic checks to ensure that data extraction is successful

Experience in validating data before and after migration

Ability to perform data quality checks on extracted legacy data prior to migration

Experience in running queries to validate that data migrated correctly into Workday

Ability to document and escalate data validation issues for resolution

Experience in supporting data reconciliation and documentation efforts

Ability to compare reports from legacy and Workday systems to identify gaps or discrepancies

Experience in recording reconciliation results in project tracking tools

Ability to maintain documentation of data migration steps, validation results, and updates

Experience in assisting technical and functional teams in resolving data discrepancies

Ability to work with IT staff and business users in investigating data mismatches

Ability to clearly document issues found during testing and assist in tracking them to resolution

Ability to communicate findings in a clear and simple way to business users when needed

Candidates must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the USA
