Responsibilities

Design and implement test strategies and platforms for manufacturing operations. This includes building test documentation, crafting test scripts, and validating hardware components such as CPUs, memory modules, motherboards, storage devices (SSD, HDD, NVMe), and PCIe‑based peripherals (NICs, GPUs, mezzanine cards, RAID controllers)
Develop, validate, release, and continuously improve automated test applications. Responsibilities include building tools that interface with test equipment, manage data acquisition, perform analysis, and generate structured test results
Provide ongoing support for server‑level (L10) and rack‑level (L11) test software deployed at manufacturing sites. This includes minor configuration updates, integration of new product numbers (IPNs), and ensuring system stability
Maintain clear and thorough documentation for manufacturing test procedures, infrastructure, and software configurations for L10 and L11 environments
Partner with hardware engineering, manufacturing teams, and quality specialists to align test coverage, requirements, and quality metrics across all product lines
Stay informed on new testing methodologies, emerging technologies, and industry advancements to enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of manufacturing test processes
Participate in defining and refining test system architectures and infrastructure solutions across the organization

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (required)
5–8 years of hands‑on experience in software development for manufacturing test environments involving enterprise servers, storage, or networking equipment
Candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience plus partial college coursework may be considered in place of a four‑year degree
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential
Proficiency in Python, Java, and Bash; experience with C/C++ is advantageous
Strong Linux development background, particularly with CentOS or Ubuntu
Experience with device‑level control tools and APIs: IPMI, Redfish, mprime, FIO, Linpack, ptugen, memtester
Expertise in creating and configuring virtual machines using VMware (DHCP, PXE boot, nginx setup)
Solid understanding of enterprise networking technologies and protocols—L1, L2, L3, BGP, DHCP Relay, ECMP; familiarity with Arista CloudVision is a plus
Experience with version control systems, especially Git
Strong understanding of standard software engineering practices across the development lifecycle
Willingness to travel internationally up to 10% as needed

Master's degree is a plus
Experience collaborating across multi‑site, multi‑cultural environments
