Responsibilities
Control expenses and ensure compliance with federal meat inspection, OSHA, and company policies
Maintain the non-union program and assess manpower needs
Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports
Solve problems effectively and follow up on actions
Collaborate with department heads to achieve production, quality, and safety goals
Oversee housekeeping, safety, sanitation, security, and food safety standards
Manage, evaluate, and train production supervisors
Lead designated shift operations and handle other responsibilities assigned by the plant manager
Qualification
Required
High School diploma required
Minimum 5 years in a related industry
5+ years of supervisory experience in a poultry processing facility
knowledge of OSHA, USDA, and HACCP regulations
Proficient in standard computer applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact effectively with team members at all levels and government officials
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
Manage and mentor subordinate supervisors
Conduct hiring and training
Assign work, monitor performance, provide feedback, and resolve issues
Occasional travel may be required (0-20%)
Demonstrated leadership by example
