Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for UI, API, and system integration testing
Lead and mentor SDETs, ensuring delivery of high quality test solutions and adherence to engineering best practices
Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to define test strategies and integrate quality throughout the SDLC
Leverage AI tools, automation patterns, and modern frameworks to enhance test coverage, reliability, and execution speed
Perform hands on test automation development using Java, JavaScript, and related libraries and tools
Drive adoption of testing methodologies including TDD, BDD, and shift left practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across application, API, database, and infrastructure layers
Develop QA documentation including test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test summary reports
Support testing of web applications, web services, containers, databases, and integrated systems
Ensure comprehensive validation using SQL queries across multiple database platforms
Partner with cross functional teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, automation readiness, and test reliability
Qualification
Required
8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
Strong hands on experience with UI automation (Cypress, Selenium) and API automation (Karate, Rest Assured)
Proven ability to lead SDETs and deliver robust, scalable automation solutions
Solid programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and related libraries
Significant experience architecting or building highly automated test frameworks
Hands on experience developing AI driven testing frameworks and scripts
Experience with Agile/Scrum, TDD/BDD, and end to end QA processes
Strong understanding of REST and SOAP services, system integration testing, and troubleshooting across app and infra layers
Working knowledge of SQL/Oracle/MongoDB, containers, and test management tools (Jira, ALM, SharePoint, Confluence)
Hands on experience developing agentic AI frameworks, RAG models and embeddings
Strong SQL proficiency for complex data validation
Knowledge of financial systems and enterprise engineering practices
Broader experience across browser, usability, and accessibility testing
Experience with Tandem/Connex Advantage or mainframe systems
