Build and develop new user-facing features
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Partner and collaborate effectively in small team environments
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited university
Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
A minimum 3.0 GPA
Actively enrolled as a university student and in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering discipline
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment in our Pasadena, CA office
Experienced in working on projects that follow test-driven development paradigms
Experienced in building highly available and scalable services
Experienced in background processing & queues
Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, Node.js and Docker & NGINX
Skilled in utilizing SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis
A solid fundamental knowledge of JavaScript, HTTP, and web application building
Well-versed in the latest technology and possess a good understanding of various trending programs and softwares
Excellent problem-solving skills, good attention to detail, and a team-player; not afraid to face technical challenges
