Responsibilities
Design and develop enterprise data models for modern data platforms
Lead AWS-based data migration projects from legacy/on-prem systems
Architect and build modern data warehouses/lakes on AWS
Develop scalable data pipelines for Snowflake and Databricks
Work on end-to-end data migration using Hadoop, Spark, and cloud-native tools
Provide hands-on development in data engineering and architecture
Optimize data storage, transformation, and processing frameworks
Collaborate with business, analytics, and engineering teams in banking domain
Deliver real-world, production-grade solutions for data modernization
Qualification
Required
Strong expertise in AWS Data Services (S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, IAM)
Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse
Strong experience in Databricks and Apache Spark
Expertise in Data Modeling for enterprise data platforms
Experience building data pipelines for Snowflake
Strong experience in data warehouse development
Experience in large-scale data migration projects (On-prem → AWS)
Hadoop ecosystem knowledge
Strong SQL and data transformation skills
Preferred
Experience in banking/financial domain
Experience working as both Data Engineer and Data Architect
Understanding of data governance and best practices
