The role involves supporting station engineers with various technical projects, site inspections, and project development while ensuring safety and maintaining electronic databases.

Responsibilities
Work Safe as a top priority
Assist the station engineers with drawing updates and equipment labeling
Support station engineers with site inspections and reports
Support the station engineers with project development and implementation
Attend and be engaged with daily operational plant meetings
Maintain and/or create electronic databases for station support
Assist station engineer with equipment assessments and troubleshooting
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an ABET accredited university as a college undergraduate or a graduate level post-secondary educational program in a related discipline
Enrollment in the university's co-op program (proof of enrollment required); if not eligible for co-op program (or program unavailable), the student will be considered an intern
A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required
Engineering degree
Related discipline: Mechanical or Chemical Discipline
Year in school: Junior or Senior
Pursuing a BA in mechanical or chemical engineering with focus in power systems
Skilled using MS Excel and Word
Responding to storms will be considered a condition of employment
Preferred
Previous industrial experience preferred
