The Software Engineer Intern will assist Software Engineers in supporting applications and troubleshoot automated job failures while adhering to corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting Software Engineers in supporting third party and internally developed applications to maintain a stable and functional applications environment
Troubleshoot automated job failures, modify reports, create new reports, and develop enhancements to internally developed applications including Visual Studio .NET, Crystal Reports, Oracle, and SQL Server
Adhere to all ACES corporate policies and comply with all ACES regulatory requirements, including but not limited to NERC, FERC, and relevant state regulations, as applicable to this position
Any additional responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled at a college or university in an accredited degree program
Must be pursuing a degree directly related to the internship
Have availability to complete the 12-week required session
Must have completed at least one programming class
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to problem solve
Preferred
Experience writing SQL queries preferred
Completed course in database and C# preferred
Strong foundation in Excel, Macros, and VBA preferred
