Responsibilities
Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence
Perform market research, risk analysis, and threat environment reporting, as directed
Review and monitor access control
Review and analyze various news channels and inform the Project Manager on related security issues
Prepare incident reports and security alerts related to security breaches
Maintain a continued, positive relationship with co-workers and clients, through appropriate contact and the anticipation of service needs
Appropriately inform management personnel of all issues relating to on-going matters
All other duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's/master's degree in homeland security or security studies
Research experience
Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
Demonstrated focus on customer service, team development, and on-time delivery
Excellent follow-up skills
Serve as an effective team member
Attentive to detail and accuracy
Computer skills; Microsoft office
With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions
Regular computer usage
Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment
Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking. (dependent on job)
