Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures (P&Ps) and verify completion of safety and environmental action items
Conduct routine safety and environmental inspections and audits
Complete and forward requisitions and recommendations to the Safety Manager as needed
Conduct and review incident investigations; perform in-depth reviews when necessary and identify safety trends
Facilitate safety meetings and deliver safety and environmental training to enhance safe work practices and promote awareness
Serve as liaison between management, contractors, and employees to address safety-related concerns in daily operations
Coordinate safety equipment supplies and related resources across assigned location(s)
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions
Work in environments that may involve exposure to extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, smoke, noise, and other unusual elements, while adhering to required safety precautions and use of protective equipment
Handle objects up to 25 pounds and stand and/or walk for extended periods (4+ hours daily)

Required

Associate's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Working knowledge of national safety and environmental standards, including fire safety programs
Strong observational and documentation skills
Ability to develop and deliver safety training programs
Effective verbal, written, and multimedia communication skills to present safety concepts to diverse audiences
Demonstrated ability to build positive partnerships with employees and management to foster a safe work environment
Ability to obtain and maintain required licensing through the appropriate gaming authority
