Reviewing blueprints, specifications, and technical documents to develop accurate estimates
Collaborating with project managers and engineers to define project scope and costs
Sourcing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
Preparing detailed bid proposals and project budgets
Tracking project costs and aligning estimates with actuals
Identifying cost efficiencies without compromising quality
Staying updated on the latest plumbing & mechanical materials, technologies, and industry codes
Qualification
Required
Experience in creating accurate, competitive, and detailed estimates for commercial and residential mechanical projects
Ability to review blueprints, specifications, and technical documents to develop accurate estimates
Collaboration skills to work with project managers and engineers to define project scope and costs
Strong relationship-building skills with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
Experience in preparing detailed bid proposals and project budgets
Ability to track project costs and align estimates with actuals
Skills in identifying cost efficiencies without compromising quality
Knowledge of the latest plumbing & mechanical materials, technologies, and industry codes
