Confidential company is seeking a Financial Systems Support Lead to serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Microsoft Dynamics GP and other ERP platforms. This role bridges Finance and IT, ensuring financial systems are aligned with business needs and optimized for performance, compliance, and scalability.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary SME for Microsoft Dynamics GP and oversee additional ERP platforms
Lead the analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment of ERP enhancements and upgrades
Own and prioritize the financial systems roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Act as the primary liaison between Finance and IT, translating business requirements into technical solutions
Manage ERP vendors, third-party integrations, and system partners to optimize performance
Develop and maintain financial systems policies, procedures, and best practices
Partner with finance stakeholders to identify system gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and financial reporting requirements
Provide end-user support, training, and documentation to drive adoption and effective system use
Collaborate with IT to ensure system security, data integrity, and performance
Leverage SQL databases and reporting tools to enhance financial reporting and analytics

Required

5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or similar ERP systems
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting requirements
Proven experience gathering and translating business requirements into system solutions
Familiarity with SQL databases, ERP integrations, and reporting tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred

Experience with other ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP, Workday Financials, Oracle)
Experience with financial reporting tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or Tableau
Exposure to cloud-based ERP solutions and system migrations
Experience with Agile methodologies or product ownership frameworks
ERP-related certifications (Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar)
