Scrum Master (JIRA & Confluence Administrator)
Zuri Group is seeking a Scrum Master and JIRA/Confluence Administrator to establish Agile methodology within a team of developers. The role involves facilitating Scrum ceremonies, administering JIRA, and supporting team collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
Help the team maintain focus on sprint goals and commitments
Administer and maintain Jira projects, workflows, fields, screens, issue types, permissions, and notifications
Coach team members on Agile values, principles, and practices, including the adoption of JIRA as a tool to support these
Encourage self-organization and accountability within the organization and accountability within the team
Collaborate with the PMO Operations Team to develop and deliver training materials, documentation, and best practice guides
Identify and remove blockers to help the team deliver efficiently
Escalate risks and dependencies to internal stakeholders when necessary while protecting the team from unnecessary disruption
Partner with Technical Leads and client-facing project managers to refine the backlog, maintain clear priorities, and understand delivery needs
Build dashboards, filters, and reports in JIRA that provide clear snapshots of work item status for stakeholders and leadership
Track team performance using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, throughput, etc.)
Facilitate improvement initiatives based on data and team feedback
Encourage experimentation and iterative problem solving
Ensure Jira is organized, clean, and aligned with organizational standards
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Coordinator
Demonstrated understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies
1–3 years of experience working with Jira or other similar tools such as Azure DevOps
Demonstrated Experience in the non-profit, higher education, or healthcare industries
Preferred
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent)
Basic understanding of product development life cycles
Familiarity with Kanban or other Agile frameworks
Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn new tools and software quickly
Foster an environment of open communication and continuous learning
Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills
Organized with the ability to manage complex workflows
Adaptable to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment juggling multiple tasks, priorities, and stakeholders
Proven ability to make independent decisions quickly and effectively, while determining and considering impact on applicable project(s)
