Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy embedded software and FPGA-based solutions from requirements through production release
Develop low-layer software, including I/O drivers, boot processes, OS integration, and hardware abstraction layers
The main function of this position is to apply the principles of electrical engineering and computer science to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of embedded solutions for electronic systems
Support software lifecycle management, including version control, configuration management, and product maintenance
Mastery of HDL design and strong comprehension of the synthesis from specification through to place-and-route
Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and implement corrective actions
Communicate technical information effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Master's OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
3-5+ years of professional experience in embedded software development
Strong FPGA development experience with demonstrated HDL (Verilog/VHDL) design and synthesis
Programming experience in C or C++ for embedded systems
Extensive knowledge of embedded computer hardware architectures
Experience reading and interpreting schematics and component datasheets
