Senior Business Development Manager
STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES develops and integrates products and engineering support to provide value-added solutions to clients in the construction industry. The Senior Business Development Manager will focus on developing new client relationships and strengthening existing ones throughout Southern California, collaborating with engineering and operations teams to deliver structural concrete strengthening solutions.

Responsibilities
Support TStrata and Construction divisions by performing sales functions on high-value projects
Find new and develop existing client relationship to discover and develop structural strengthening projects and meet financial goals
After receiving appropriate training, give presentations to potential clients on our strengthening solutions and work with our engineering and construction operations departments to follow up on feedback and inquiries that arise from presentations
Participate in web based meetings, in-person meetings, emails, and phone calls with company’s current, assigned and potential clients as needed
Follow up, pursue and communicate information on project and client leads provided by our marketing team
Assist with drafts of proposals for structural strengthening projects and necessary revisions
Assist with assembly of bid packages for Strengthening projects as necessary
Attend jobsite walks and pre-bid meetings as needed
Fully understand region’s strengthening project pipeline, manage and lead project review calls with team and maintain pipeline up to date on CRM
Update the existing company contact databases with new contacts obtained from presentations, meetings, conferences, etc
Work with the Structural Group’s marketing resources to help develop this database and reach out to key targets
Represent company at industry events and conferences with the intent to stay connected with the company’s industry contacts and to provide education to the industry as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of previous sales experience building relationships and expanding a client base in the commercial market
Strong knowledge of the Los Angeles market (including engineering firms, building owners, general contractors, property management firms, architects, etc.)
Track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals / quotas utilizing a CRM system
Strong understanding of process required to promote and implement engineered services and products through a complex and extended sales cycle, typically for existing structures
Capable of learning and sharing information on engineered products, their functions, applicability and standards along with understanding of proposal development
Local travel 60-70% of the time
Preferred
Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or in Construction Management are strongly desired and will be given preference
Preferably selling for specialty construction services or products to the commercial market
Existing client base to include structural engineers and general contracting firms
