Maintenance Technician
Solaris Paper, Inc is among the fastest-growing tissue manufacturers in the United States, with production facilities strategically located in California, Oklahoma, and Virginia. They are seeking a Maintenance Technician (Electro-Tech) who will troubleshoot, maintain, test and repair electrical, mechanical, Mechatronics, Hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoots and repairs equipment
Installs, starts up and shuts down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures
Performs preventive maintenance functions
Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical equipment, including programmable controllers, variable frequency drives, sensors, power supplies, powered and mechanical drives, gauges and test equipment
Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical, mechanical or electromechanical problems occur
Assemble electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical and electro-mechanical principles, using hand tools, powered tools, and measuring instruments
Install and maintain electrical/electronic control systems, electro-mechanical systems, and solid state equipment
Modify electrical and electro-mechanical prototypes, parts, assemblies, and systems to correct functional deviations
Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, electro-mechanical instruments, and/or testing equipment
Willing to work over normal shift for break downs or shift coverage with little or no notice

Preferred
3+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical trade position in a highly technical manufacturing environment
Robot, case packer and wrapper troubleshooting experience
PLC troubleshooting and programming
Paper converting facility experience
