Responsibilities
Identify program needs such as resources, staff, or finances by reviewing project objectives and schedules
Request and review project updates to ensure program deadlines and requirements are met
Supervise, orient, and train contractor personnel working on the task order
Implement corrective action plans to solve organizational, performance, quality, schedule, and management problems related to task order performance
Review reports submitted by staff members to recommend approval or suggest changes
Confer with program personnel to discuss issues and resolve problems with task order performance
Supervise, orient, and train contractor personnel working on the task order
Assign duties and responsibilities to contractor personnel for projects, programs, and documents and communicate those responsibilities to programs
Qualification
Required
Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance
10+ years of professional experience supporting US Navy ship programs
5+ years of experience supervising US Navy ship programs
Familiarity with engineering changes and modifications to Navy ships
Familiarization with ship lifecycle sustainment and modernization principles
DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process); DoD/DoN contracting; experience communicating with SES/Flag level personnel; Navy procedures and processes is desired
Bachelor's degree in business or financial related field
