Senior LevelQuantum Business Advisory USA Corp is seeking a Senior Power BI consultant to deliver expert-led, consultative training and technical mentorship for a highly capable BI team within a large U.S. manufacturing enterprise. The role involves conducting assessments of Power BI data models, providing mentorship on complex DAX and performance optimization, and enabling the internal BI team to operate independently.

Responsibilities
Audit Existing Data Models: Conduct a rapid, non-disruptive assessment of current Power BI data models to identify architectural, modeling, or process-related bottlenecks
Provide Advanced Technical Mentorship: Guide experienced BI professionals on complex DAX, report development, dimensional modeling, and performance optimization
Lead Hands-On Working Sessions: Deliver all sessions using real manufacturing and operational datasets — not sample or tutorial data
Deliver Strategically: Facilitate onsite discovery and foundational sessions, followed by tailored virtual deep dives based on findings in the client environment
Build Internal Capability: Enable the BI team to operate independently as high-velocity developers with minimal ongoing external support
Qualification
Required
Advanced Power BI Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with Power BI architecture, complex DAX, enterprise-scale data modeling, and performance tuning
Manufacturing / Industrial BI Experience: Prior work supporting production, operations, supply chain, or asset-centric reporting environments
Proven Mentorship Skills: Demonstrated ability to mentor or train senior technical professionals (Data Architects, Senior Analysts)
Onsite Availability: Willingness and ability to travel to Green Bay, WI for the initial onsite phase
Compliance & Confidentiality: Ability to execute an NDA and work with sensitive enterprise data
U.S. Person Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to regulatory and contractual obligations associated with defense-related data access
Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
Preferred
Experience with SAP-sourced data (ECC or S/4HANA) in Power BI
Background in defense manufacturing, shipbuilding, heavy equipment, or asset-intensive industries
