Responsibilities
Assemble, terminate, and wire electrical panels and electrical boxes using the specified tooling and approved workmanship standards, including complete installation into enclosure
Perform point to point wiring on a variety of electrical panels and power distribution electrical boxes; using company supplied hand tools, such as crimpers and wire strippers
Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions
Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly
The primary focus will be spent wiring panels therefore it is imperative that candidate be proficient at wiring
Layout of components in various size cabinets
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 1 year panel assembly experience
High school diploma /GED
Knowledge and experience with electrical wiring, control panels and instrumentation
Proficient at wiring
Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports
Ability to utilize written and verbal communication skills including active listening and speaking
Ability to lift objects up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to operate office equipment such as computers, telephones, fax machines and copiers
Ability to operate a forklift (onsite training will be provided)
