Responsibilities
Provide technical triage and production support for Education Systems, resolving issues across custom-built and vendor applications
Develop and enhance .NET/C# applications and system integrations, including both API-based and file-based workflows
Manage and support system interfaces and automation workflows, using tools like Azure DevOps, Power Automate, and SFTP utilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment to plan, prioritize, and deliver features, fixes, and enhancements
Monitor, analyze, and improve system performance, ensuring reliable operation, accurate data flow, and consistent delivery of technical tasks
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of hands-on experience with .NET development, including troubleshooting, enhancements, and new development
Strong database experience, preferably with Azure SQL or Microsoft SQL Server, including writing queries, stored procedures, and understanding relational models
Proficiency working with APIs, including building, consuming, and integrating REST-based services
Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and work item management
Knowledge of integration tools, especially Microsoft Power Automate for workflow automation
Experience managing complex system integrations, including file-based and API-based data exchanges
Experience with custom-developed and vendor-supplied applications, understanding configuration, troubleshooting, and support
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology, participating in sprints, standups, and backlog grooming
Hands-on experience with SFTP tools, such as Cleo Harmony, for secure file transfers
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues and build effective solutions
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate and explain technical concepts clearly
Ability to work independently and within a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Demonstrated reliability, consistency, and initiative, with a proactive approach to taking on new tasks and delivering results
Preferred
Experience with Identity Management and Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies such as OAuth, SAML, or Azure AD
Knowledge of .NET libraries and package management, including creating, consuming, and managing NuGet packages
Familiarity with AI technologies, especially Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and other AI-driven development tools
Experience using AI-assisted coding tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to accelerate development
Proficiency with Python scripting for automation, data manipulation, or integration tasks
Experience working with student information systems (SIS) and learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas, Blackboard, or Banner
Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for creating and maintaining reports
Experience with Linux environments, including scripting, command-line operations, or server management
Front-end development experience, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript libraries like React, Angular, or Vue
