Responsibilities
Designs, develops, tests, and maintains data ingest applications and ETL processes in our Azure cloud environment
Acts as third-level support for escalated tickets related to data quality, integration, and processing issues
Utilizes AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, VS Code) to accelerate development and problem-solving
Works with Azure Data Bricks and SQL Server to manage and optimize data pipelines
Collaborates with Help Desk, Product Management, and Development teams to resolve customer issues and improve data operations
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft .NET development (C#)
Experience writing SQL queries and working with SQL Server databases
Understanding of data integration concepts, ETL processes, and data pipelines
Experience with cloud-based technologies and services (Azure preferred)
Familiarity with version control (Git and Azure DevOps)
Experience working with various data formats (XML, JSON, CSV, Excel)
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills
Preferred
Experience with Python programming
Experience with Azure Data Bricks and Spark
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar)
Knowledge of relational database design and administration
Experience with performance tuning and optimization
SOLR, Redis Cache, Azure Search or similar technologies
