Responsibilities
Developing well-structured user interface test cases
Automated test cases
Writing and executing manual test cases
Analyzing complex data
Testing of new and existing functionality
Debug code and report errors within the defect tracking system
Providing support to other SQA Analysts
Completing documentation according to approved methodology
Coordinating and participating in development and team meetings
Qualification
Required
3+ years experience backend database testing utilizing MS SQL
Working knowledge of test management software (like JIRA or similar)
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester using MS SQL Database
Ability to manage competing priorities on an ongoing basis
Strong problem identification and solving skills
Preferred
Ability to write and analyze SQL queries
Knowledge of stored procedures
Work collaboratively with the development team for defect triaging
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Excel in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Ability to be self-directed to complete assigned activities
Strong verbal and written skills
Relate effectively and work respectfully with diverse work groups
Ability to consistently perform well during times of increased work load
Ability to set and meet deadlines
Manage multiple job functions simultaneously
Other duties as needed
Four-year technical college degree in related field
Exposure to test automation tools
