Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, chassis, enclosures, and racks using assembly prints and schematics
Perform hand soldering, wire harnessing, and cable assembly following defined procedures
Conduct routine go or no-go tests on circuits, components, and mechanical assemblies
Set up and operate test devices using hand tools or automated test methods
Document test results and maintain accurate production records
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly or quality issues independently
Perform rework or repairs as required to meet quality standards
Follow established safety, quality, and production guidelines consistently
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly within a production environment
Experience working with IPC-610 quality standards
Hands-on experience with surface mount technology assembly and electronic component placement
Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation
Strong understanding of component polarity and electrostatic discharge practices
Proficiency using hand tools and basic test equipment
Good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience operating surface mount technology machines
Familiarity with automated optical inspection or paste printing equipment
Prior experience in high-volume or high-complexity manufacturing environments
