Responsibilities
Architect, design, and develop AI-powered applications using AWS Bedrock and AWS native services
Build and operationalize LLM- and agent-based solutions for real business workflows
Enhance AI POCs into scalable, production-ready systems
Develop secure, cloud-native microservices using Python (primary) and/or Java
Integrate with AWS Bedrock agents, embeddings, and foundation models
Implement solutions using AWS Lambda, ECS, EC2, RDS, IAM, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, Step Functions, DynamoDB
Partner with Product, Architecture, Security, and Data Science teams
Apply AWS best practices for performance, resiliency, and cost optimization
Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, standards, and automation
Contribute to non-AI platform modernization initiatives as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum 8+ years of experienced candidates required
Hands-on Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in AWS cloud-native development and emerging AI technologies
Architect, design, and develop AI-powered applications using AWS Bedrock and AWS native services
Build and operationalize LLM- and agent-based solutions for real business workflows
Enhance AI POCs into scalable, production-ready systems
Develop secure, cloud-native microservices using Python (primary) and/or Java
Integrate with AWS Bedrock agents, embeddings, and foundation models
Implement solutions using AWS Lambda, ECS, EC2, RDS, IAM, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, Step Functions, DynamoDB
Partner with Product, Architecture, Security, and Data Science teams
Apply AWS best practices for performance, resiliency, and cost optimization
Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, standards, and automation
Contribute to non-AI platform modernization initiatives as needed
8+ years of software development experience (Python primary, Java secondary)
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock (agents, embeddings, model orchestration)
Experience with AWS Textract and other AWS AI services (Amazon Q, etc.)
Deep expertise in AWS Lambda, IAM, API development, authentication patterns
Solid understanding of Agentic architectures, LLM evaluation, cloud-native & event-driven systems
Strong background in microservices, CI/CD, observability
Experience with Splunk or similar monitoring tools
Proven ability to solve complex coding problems and build optimized solutions
Strong architectural and solution design skills
Ability to independently drive solutions from concept to production
Agile team experience and excellent communication skills
Preferred
Experience with Vector Databases (Pinecone, Aurora Postgres pgvector)
Familiarity with GraphQL, ECS, EKS
Background in financial services or regulated industries
Knowledge of responsible AI practices and evaluation frameworks
