Responsibilities

Keep analytical and metallographic instruments at peak performance
Restore down equipment through expert troubleshooting and corrective repairs
Install new systems, apply updates, and deploy upgrade kits
Coach users on instrument theory, operation, software, and maintenance
Document and perform all service in alignment with LECO’s ISO accreditation

Qualification

Required

Self-starter mindset and clear written/verbal communication
Professional conduct and adherence to each customer's site and safety protocols
Organized, detail-focused approach to service and documentation
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with AC/DC electronics (or willingness to learn)
Two Year Technical Degree or Trade School
Prior Military with training in a technical field
Equivalent work experience or training in a technical field
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Personal credit card or ability to secure one
Pass a background check and substance abuse screenings
Must be authorized to work in the US without restriction

Preferred

Chemistry or military experience is advantageous
