Asset Management Specialist Mid
Leidos is looking to hire an Asset Management Specialist Mid to work on their SMIT program in Blount Island, FL. The selected candidate will focus on tracking and controlling service assets in the IT infrastructure and collaborate with configuration analysts to train staff in SACM principles and processes.

Responsibilities
Analyze large logistics and inventory datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and process improvement opportunities
Develop clear reports and dashboards to support leadership decision-making
Use Remedy and related systems to track, manage, and resolve logistics and supply chain actions
Maintain accurate inventory and logistics records in compliance with Marine Corps standards; generate NCRs as required
Conduct routine audits of equipment, inventories, and data entries, implementing corrective actions for discrepancies
Perform physical inspections to verify accountability, condition, and disposition of equipment, updating records accordingly
Investigate and document non-conformance issues and coordinate timely corrective actions with stakeholders
Implement and monitor security measures for communication systems and networks to ensure compliance with government security requirements
Support SACM activities, including CI registration, access control, role definition, and adherence to identification standards
Assist with IT asset procurement, receipt, delivery, setup, and teardown as needed
Coordinate with the Configuration Librarian to maintain accurate population of the CMDB/CMS
Perform configuration audits to ensure alignment between physical inventory and the CMDB/CMS, initiating corrective actions through Change Control
Accept, build, and maintain baselined products for distribution, promotion, and release; track project status and configuration records
Maintain and reconcile databases for hardware/software licenses, warranties, and service agreements
Qualification
Required
High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
Four (4) years of experience using Department of Defense Logistics and Asset Management System (e.g., Remedy, DPAS, GCSS-MC)
US Citizen with an active DOD Secret Clearance
