Patient Financial Coordinator - Specialty Care Clinic

They are seeking a Patient Financial Coordinator to support Ryan White eligibility determinations and assist clients with financial assistance programs related to healthcare. This role involves collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure compliance and effective communication with clients regarding their healthcare benefits.

Responsibilities
Provide benefits counseling, obtain and process documents to certify Ryan White eligibility for ADAP/HICP and other patient assistance programs
Assist clients with obtaining and processing healthcare plan applications during Open Enrollment
Maintain and monitor CareWare, Data Rx, and other relevant programs daily, weekly, and monthly to track upcoming eligibility, expiration dates, and patient compliance
Coordinate, monitor, track, and evaluate insurance enrollment, premium payments, co-pays, and changes in benefits with individuals, agencies, health insurance carriers, pharmacies, and the contracted Pharmacy Benefits Manager
Perform data entry and documentation in electronic health records and other databases
Provide timely follow-up and communication with clients and staff on important deadlines for certification and recertification of eligibility documents
Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with case management team to obtain information and refer clients to other services, as appropriate
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of job-related experience
One (1) year of experience at the lower level Admin Assistant 1 (GST050) or position equivalent
