Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain applications using FileMaker and other appropriate platforms
Build solutions with scalability and modularity in mind to support future microservices adoption
Integrate applications with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, APIs, cloud services) and prepare for event-driven communication
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement secure, efficient solutions
Participate in modernization projects, including migration to cloud-native and distributed architectures
Assist in troubleshooting issues, performance tuning, and optimizing application reliability
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation for application deployments
Stay informed about emerging technologies and actively recommend improvements aligned with strategic goals

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–4 years of experience in application development, preferably with FileMaker
Strong understanding of relational database design, scripting, and API integration
Familiarity with modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and cloud platforms
Knowledge of distributed systems concepts, asynchronous communication, and RESTful services
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively
FileMaker Certification (Developer) or willingness to obtain
Experience with microservices frameworks, event streaming platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka), and messaging systems
Exposure to containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Knowledge of cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Adobe Workfront, and ServiceNow
