New GradBoston Dynamics is a world leader in mobile robots, tackling some of the toughest robotics challenges. They are seeking a Systems Test Engineer Co-op to provide hands-on technical support to a peer group of test engineers and technicians in verifying and validating humanoid robot systems.

Responsibilities
Work across electrical, mechanical, firmware, and technician teams to validate and integrate robot systems into test stands for reliability, verification, and software testing
Oversee and execute the integration of testing fixtures, including instrumentation, wiring, and configurations
Test and validate assemblies and firmware for critical components of our robot, such as actuators, grippers, power distribution boards, battery management systems, sensing boards, motor controllers, or compute boards
Contribute to the definition of our test system design and test process
Support system integration and test activities by contributing to test execution and debugging
Work alongside test engineers to develop and execute accelerated life reliability test specifications for actuators, batteries, structures, bushings, wirings, sensors, and the full system
Support failure analysis efforts for failures resulting from reliability testing
Qualification
Required
In progress Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
Preferred
Solid mechatronics fundamentals with hands-on experience designing, building, and testing PCBAs or subsystem test stands used for hardware and software validation
Experience using 3D Modeling SW or Altium (or similar EDA tools)
Experience in the test and debugging of complex electromechanical systems
General experience in firmware, automation, and controls
Data analysis and visualization
Software tools including: Python, C++, Jama, Jira, Google Suite, Matlab, Arena, Altium, Solidworks, Catia v6, Raspberry Pi, Arduino
