Responsibilities
Analyze and incorporate client pipeline dig results into sizing curves, prepare technical reports on findings
Create and maintain Unity plots as per API 1163 for all data collected
Collaborate with R&D to maintain and improve pipeline inspection tool specifications
Create/update models for detection, sizing, and classification of pipeline anomalies
Collaborate with stakeholders from engineering, data analysis, sales on priorities and plans
Participate in hardware/software development activities and influence design direction where relevant
Generate improvement proposals based on data and guide data driven decision making with stakeholders
Maintain market awareness of pipeline inspection trends, advancements and/or new technologies, challenge status quo
Bridge gaps between results and expectations, attend client meetings, prepare and present findings
Qualification
Required
5+ years of MFL data science experience in the pipeline inspection industry, including knowledge of relevant standards API 1163 etc
Analytical skills with ability to connect obstacles and opportunities, in a cross functional environment, to business needs
Knowledge of relevant languages (python, etc) and experience with algorithm development
Experience with machine learning
Working knowledge of MFL sensor systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Minimum of Master's degree in Data Science or equivalent
Preferred
Experience with embedded product development in inline inspection or other industries
