Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot
Implement event-driven architectures leveraging Apache Kafka
Develop and execute automated test cases using BDD frameworks such as Cucumber, JUnit, and Mockito
Manage source code using Bitbucket and handle builds using Maven/Gradle
Work with Oracle and MongoDB databases to ensure data consistency, performance, and scalability
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems using Elastic, Prometheus, and Grafana
Collaborate with product owners, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support activities
Qualification
Required
Java & Spring Boot: 3+ years
Microservices Architecture: 3+ years
Apache Kafka: 3+ years
Oracle Database / SQL: 3+ years
Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (Cucumber, JUnit, Mockito)
Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems
Experience with Git-based version control systems (Bitbucket)
Preferred
MongoDB: 2+ years
Python: 2+ years
Experience with monitoring tools such as Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana
Exposure to cloud-native or containerized environments is a plus
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work onsite and participate in in-person interviews if required
Experience in large-scale enterprise or retail environments is a plus
