Administrative Assistant
The University of Pittsburgh is seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform administrative support work for the Child Welfare Resource Center. The role involves managing inquiries, providing information, and performing clerical duties while working primarily in the Mechanicsburg office.

Responsibilities
Perform administrative assistant support work of moderate complexity
Serve as the initial point of contact for all in person and telephone inquiries to the Resource Center
Answer the phone, take messages, and transfer callers; provide general information and appropriately answer customer inquiries from walk-ins, incoming calls, and emails
Perform administrative support activities and department specific technical or operations duties for assigned project with some support from others; serve as liaison between internal and external partners
Perform a variety of clerical duties including data entry
Operate computers and other office equipment; communicate effectively with management contacts as well as internal and external contacts; perform multiple job tasks and projects
Typical field travel required will be statewide throughout the Commonwealth on an infrequent basis, lift up to 50 pounds, provide room set up, move tables and chairs, be able to open and close walls and support audiovisual equipment for meetings and presentations
Qualification
Required
Must be able to operate computers and other office equipment
Communicate effectively with management contacts as well as internal and external contacts
Perform multiple job tasks and projects
Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and Outlook
Serve as the initial point of contact for all in person and telephone inquiries to the Resource Center

Associate's Degree
3 years of experience
Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education and/or experience requirement
