Responsibilities
To prepare turbine engines for test as outlined in the Overhaul or Maintenance Manuals
Operate flow benches as needed
Perform daily, weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance
Be able to read, write and understand the English language
Demonstrates a cooperative relationship to interface between mechanics and test cell operators
Capability of making a decision from general knowledge and training
Performs other tasks, as required
Maintain/demonstrates proper use and care of assigned tools and equipment
Performs whatever documentation is required, per work scope specification
Familiar with inspection tools/gauges/micrometers as well as geometric tolerance
Adheres to Kratos’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics Standards
Be able to operate torque wrenches and operate safety wire pliers is a plus
Qualification
Required
Be able to read, write and understand the English language

Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors
Ability to interact appropriately with the public when necessary
Working knowledge and/or skill in word processing, spread sheets and other computer applications including Outlook
Ability to adhere to workplace rules
US Citizenship
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work in a hot environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to tolerate constant noise (machine motors - large fans)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or sit for long periods of time
The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Preferred
