InternBollinger Shipyards is seeking an IT - Vendor Relationship Management Intern to assist with developing a financial framework for tracking, analyzing, and optimizing IT spend. This internship provides exposure to vendor management, contract analysis, and technology budgeting while working closely with IT professionals.

Responsibilities
Assist in building a comprehensive IT spend framework that aligns with departmental and organizational financial goals
Collect, analyze, and categorize IT expenses across software, hardware, cloud services, and professional services
Partner with the Contracts & Licensing Specialist to review agreements for cost, renewal terms, and spend commitments
Help develop reporting templates and dashboards for spend visibility, forecasting, and variance analysis
Support vendor performance analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance transparency and accountability in IT procurement
Prepare documentation and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, charts)
Good organization and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional environment
Basic typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Adaptable to new technologies and new situations
Strong desire to learn and improve your skills
Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred
Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus
Interest in IT, software licensing, or vendor management
