Analyze the user needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re recommending considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements
Qualification
Required
8 years of experience with MUMPS software development OR 5 years of experience with MUMPS software development and 5 years working in VistA environments using Fileman
Knowledge of HL7 messaging development
Knowledge of software development
Knowledge of design or architectural patterns
Knowledge of architecture styles and APIs
Ability to understand front-end users' requirements
Ability to communicate with front-end users to replicate their issues
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Associate or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science field OR certification from a VistA/MUMPS learning program
Preferred
Experience with working in VistA environments
Experience with using VA FileMan
Experience troubleshooting VA Clinical products
Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, and GitHub
Experience with MS Teams collaboration tools
Knowledge of Agile frameworks
SAFe Certifications
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Process, including Agile Development, SCRUM, or Kanban
